At 11am on Tuesday 27 October, we’re running one of our totally fabulous, intergenerational, clay modelling sessions.Autumnal pottery fun...
Our seasonal theme is Nightlights and Lanterns. Participants of all ages will have the opportunity to make and paint a pottery t-light lantern made from scratch, with real clay.
Coil pots:
We’ll be exploring the coil pot technique, building our lanterns by layering ‘snakes’ of clay on top of each other and smoothing them off. Participants can personalise their creations by adding modelled details before painting them in tones of russet, ochre and crimson. 🎃🎃🎃
Fire & Glazed
At the end of the session you’ll leave your master piece with us to be fired & glazed. 🔥 Once they have emerged from the kiln, we’ll drop you a line to let you know they are ready for collection.
Places are £40 per person and If you can’t collect, P+P can be purchased at £5 per item.
