About this Event
NOTE THIS TRIP TAKES PLACE IN HOURS OF DARKNESS, for your comfort you should have kayaked at least once before and be physically active, you dont need much kayaking experience however it helps, if you never kayaked before best you do a daytime event first or experienced a session of kayaking, any question contact us.
Night Bus
As the light starts to fade join us for an evening paddle right through the centre of London. Seeing all of London's landmarks brightly bathed in light, Albert Bridge, Houses of Parliament, St Paul's, Bank Side, The City Tower Bridge, Old Naval College to name a few.
This is an evening paddle starting at Battersea and finishing at Greenwich. The trip is a good 2.5 to 3 hours. and planned with the tide, passes many historic sites the trip is suitable for all abilities, but you will need to have some experience of kayaking in advance. All equipment is included just dress warmly for the day. The trip is for adults only. London Kayak Company is a professional outfit and fully compliant to operate within the Port of London.
We use stable double kayaks with rudders, all kit provided and staffed by professional guides.

What are my transport options and where do we start the trip?
You are best to use public transport to get to and from the event.
We will be on the beach next to St Mary Church Battersea on the south side of the river. Use the address St Marys Church, Battersea Church Rd, SW11 3LX. The launch site is 10 minutes walk from Battersea Bridge.

The trip will finish at Greenwich, close to The Cutty Sark Pub and Enderby House, and 12 minutes walk to the Centre of Greenwich or 15- Minutes Walk to the Jubilee Line at Greenwich North. Postcode of landing site SE10 OTH.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Bring comfortable clothes to paddle in, dress for the weather including a pair of training shoes you don't mind getting muddy. We supply all equipment including good quality waterproofs. Also, bring a complete change of clothes.
