‘Ngā Ara Auaha’ is the University of Waikato’s annual Creative Practice Student Showcase, celebrating the diverse creative work of undergraduate and postgraduate students from across the University. Translating broadly as “creative pathways”, the exhibition recognises the many ways students generate, communicate and share knowledge through creative practice.Featuring work developed through coursework, research, theses, dissertations, directed studies and other forms of inquiry, ‘Ngā Ara Auaha’ brings together a broad range of creative outputs, including visual art, design, making, writing, moving image, weaving, digital media and installation.
Presented in the Foyer Galleries at the Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts, the exhibition offers students an opportunity to share their work in a professional public setting and invites audiences to experience the breadth of creative research and learning taking place at the University of Waikato.
The exhibition will be on display until 2nd April 2027.
