Steve and Julie hail from Derby, but travel the land widely, regaling the folk world with their airtight harmonies. Julie is the songwriter of the pair, and through their music they tell brilliant stories picked up from their travels and experiences in life. They make a highly entertaining duo and there are sure to be plenty of chances to sing along with them.
Support is from two local duos, both of whom will be well known to club regulars. Dan Hadley and Ali Bann present a blend of Irish and English folk influences, Dan's gruffly earnest voice underpinning Ali's lilting folk soprano. Markonica bring their signature sound of guitar and accordion to a wide variety of classics from the folk world and beyond, along with an impressive collection of hats.
This is sure to be a very fun night indeed!
