Most Mondays starting October 5 thru Easter, 6:30-8:30pm in the Parish Center, Our Lady of Light Catholic CommunityHave you read through the Bible and need more context to really understand the stories? In this New Testament Bible Study, we will delve into the entire New Testament through the lens of the ancient Middle East cultural background to understand Jesus’ teachings in the context of Old Testament scripture references.
You’ll come to understand the setting of both the author and the audience of each bible book to hear Jesus’ message of Hope and Good News in a fresh and detailed new way. This study is fitting for those both new to study and who crave deeper knowledge of Jesus’ time. We will avoid a literalist, fundamentalist interpretation of scripture, but with Truth for your own life.
