educational success of care experienced (CE) students.
About this Event
Care-experienced young people often arrive in further education with an experience of disrupted schooling, personal circumstances changing outside of their control, and low expectations from those around them. Further education plays a critical role in providing stability, building confident learners, and offering high-quality progression routes into higher education. This conference brings together advisers, practitioners, and partners to explore how inclusive, joined-up FE-to-HE pathways can support care-experienced learners to re-engage, build aspiration and progress successfully into higher education. Through shared practice, collaboration and evidence-informed approaches, the event will focus on what works in creating sustained progression, ensuring that different starting points can lead to strong futures.
