Join us at Leytonstone Library - the community room for a fun and relaxed creative writing workshop designed just for adults.
Writing Ourselves Back is a reflective and creative writing workshop for adults, offering a calm and welcoming space to pause, write, and reconnect with your own voice. Through guided prompts and optional sharing, participants are invited to explore personal stories, memories, identity, and the experiences that shape a sense of self.
Linked naturally to the London Verse theme of Belonging & Home, the workshop creates space to reflect on the places, people, and inner worlds that influence how we understand ourselves and where we feel we belong.
No previous writing experience is needed.
Designed to support creativity, confidence, and wellbeing, the session offers an inclusive and thoughtful environment in which to reflect, write, and connect.
