Sylvia Bauer has been birding for about 10 years. She got started with birding as a Snowy Plover Monitor in Morro Bay and has loved birding ever since. Her most recent lifer (as of August 2026) is the semipalmated sandpiper.
She currently works for the State of California as a project biologist and her current projects include document preparation and bird surveys. In her free time she is going through her backlog of photos so that she can upload them to eBird.
