About this Event
Have you been struggling to find a space that is sensory friendly and closer to home? Don't you worry! This is New West's first jam night for neurodivergent musicians and dancers, located on Carnarvon Street where it's a big space and you get to jam with many queer-disabled artists who don't feel like travelling to Vancouver. It's also a free jam night for those who can't afford the funds to travel.
This is the first monthly jam night being held at Motion and Music, and we recognize that it can be restraining and difficult to travel to Vancouver with limited funds, especially for disabled New West residents who can't afford to go out.
Douglas College music students are also welcome to join. Free RSVP, so make sure you leave a note to reserve your spot.
Bring your instruments, dance shoes and your artistry onto the jam space and meet wonderful people alike!
Free for Neurodisabled performers and artists. For non-disabled artist, we encourage you to pay what you can, as the funds will go towards a Motion and Music bursary, allowing one lucky student access for music/dance lessons
This venue is located at Motion and Music, which is also on the unceded lands of the Qaqayt, Coast Salish and Halkomelem speaking peoples.
