Experience the unique Neon Naked Life Drawing workshop at Toulouse Lautrec in Kennington.
Dive into an afternoon of vibrant, artistic fun with reactive art materials, drawing radiant, colourful life models.
These one-off specials at Toulouse Lautrec run either from 1:30 PM to 3 PM or 3:30 PM to
5 PM.
The nearest tube stations are Kennington or Elephant and Castle.
- The classes on 29th November, & 6th December feature a special themed Neon Shibari performance for sketching.
- The class on the 20th December is a Winter Dreams theme!
This workshop delves into creativity, moving away from the perfectionist teachings of traditional life drawing. You'll experiment with various image-making techniques, from continuous line drawing to pointillism, and be encouraged to think outside the box to create something new.
As described in Time Out Magazine 'It might look like a Full Moon party, but this evening of sketching is an experiment in light, colour, and texture. The models become ‘living sculptures’ covered in UV lights and reactive body paints. Trippy.'
Neon Naked Life Drawing offers a unique experience, focusing on the creation of unusual and expressive designs through vibrant living sculptures. The fusion of UV light, reactive body paints, and hand-crafted flamboyant accessories nurtures a creative and immersive atmosphere.
In this class, you'll delve into the world of colour, light, and texture through a series of short poses ranging from 6 to 10 minutes. Various drawing styles will be explained in advance.
Art supplies are provided with essentials like pencils, paper, and drawing boards, as well as fluorescent neon pastels and highlighters to make your artwork pop!
No prior experience is necessary, and assistance is readily available for challenging poses. Expect a fun and friendly atmosphere with a relaxed vibe—ideal for a unique evening out, whether it's a date, hanging out with work friends, celebrating a birthday, or hosting a hen party.
All designs and accessories are meticulously crafted by , an experienced artist with a strong focus on UV reactive materials and a background in multi-disciplinary art spanning several years.
