Bring your family and join a family-friendly, guided nature and photography hike at Greeneyes Wildlife Preserve, one of Orange County’s Green PLACE properties, on Saturday, February 13, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. This guided hike welcomes families of all skill levels, whether your family shoots with smartphones or a camera, offering everyone the chance to capture local wildlife and natural landscapes. Participants will also have the unique opportunity to smell and photograph the property's namesake flower in bloom, adding a special touch to this outdoor adventure!
As part of the inaugural Green PLACE Hiking Spree, attending the “Family Nature Photography Hike” will help get you closer to earning rewards for hiking Green PLACE properties. The event runs from National Public Lands Day on September 26, 2026, to Earth Day on April 22, 2027. The Green PLACE Hiking Spree is a great way to discover the remarkable variety of landscapes, plants and wildlife of Orange County.
