Before winter settles in, let's take one final slow walk through the autumn landscape. Together we'll notice the last colorful leaves, seed heads, migrating birds, bare branches, and other quiet signs that nature is preparing for rest.Rather than rushing into the next season, we'll practice gratitude for the beauty that still surrounds us.
The Naturalist-in-Residence program is hosted in partnership with Madison Parks and is made possible thanks to a generous donation from Nancy Leff and Kenneth Lerner.
This program is part of the Naturalist-in-Residence series of events. See the full lineup, read Qwantese's full bio, and learn how to pick up a commemorative art poster at madpl.org/naturalist.
