About this Event
Join sustainable artist Rachel Burchell to celebrate the season with a hands-on afternoon of natural ink printing at Sweet Briar Marshes.
After a short introduction to natural inks, you'll take a gentle wander through the reserve to gather leaves before returning to play and experiment - using Rachel's homemade natural inks to reveal the textures, patterns and detail hidden in everyday foliage.
No experience is needed. This is a session about curiosity, creativity and taking time for yourself - not about producing a perfect outcome.
This workshop complements Intertwine, a new exhibition at Artdepot NR3 inspired by Sweet Briar Marshes, from Elemental - an artist collective comprising Rachel Burchell, Rachel Wright and Natasha Day.
