National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

On Saturday, October 24, 2026, the Bowie Police Department will participate in the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. From 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., city residents can come to the Police Department, located on the side of City Hall at 15901 Fred Robinson Way, to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications.
Drug Take Back Day is a national event sponsored by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to provide residents with a safe and legal way to discard unwanted medication. We will not accept syringes or needles.
