About the headliner, Dr. Chris Hoff:
Dr. Chris Hoff is the Founder of the California Family Institute, creator of the Cultural Architect framework for therapists, co-editor of The Encyclopedia of Radical Helping, host of the Radical Therapist Podcast, cultural critic, substack writer and artist.
Chris is a narrative therapist, teacher and writer. His upcoming book, “Contemporary Narrative Therapy, Maps and Methods for Collaborative Clinical Practice”, is being released in January, 2027.
Chris’s substack writing addresses topics like: how therapy’s future will be impacted by the end of Neoliberalism and the emergence of tech feudalism; the advancement of anti-intellectualism in our field; the declining state of post-secondary educational programs for therapists in the United States; how futurism can inform our practices and help us imagine new possibilities for the future of therapy, among many other fascinating topics. Chris facilitates groups for therapists and creatives that assist them in composing alternative futures for their work and lives while taking our present political realities seriously. He invites his audiences to engage seriously with pluriversal thinking and to develop their unique skills and imagination for reimagining hope in the future we're being given.
