Et møde mellem groovy rytmer, rå energi og spirituel dybde venter publikum, når denne unikke danske kvintet indtager scenen med en intens blanding af ethio-jazz, afrobeat, groove og soul-jazz. Bandet har hentet direkte inspiration i Etiopien – bogstaveligt talt – hvor de har mødt og lært af legendariske musikere som Mulatu Astatke, kendt som grundlæggeren af ethio-jazz.
Med en sjældent set instrumentering i dansk musikliv – hammondorgel, trommer, percussion og to saxofoner – skaber kvintetten en lyd, der både er særegen, dansabel og levende. Musikken er fyldt med improvisation, groove og en uforudsigelighed, der gør hver koncert til en ny oplevelse.
Bandet består af fem erfarne og alsidige musikere fra den danske jazz- og verdensmusikscene, som flere gange har begejstret publikum på Copenhagen Jazz Festival og andre prominente scener.

An eruption of rare grooves, raw energy, and spiritual depths is what awaits the audience, when this unique Danish quintet takes the stage with a subtle blend of ethio-jazz, afrobeat, and soul jazz.
The band has been directly influenced by the music scene in Ethiopia – quite literally – while it is where they have met and learned from legendary master musicians such as Mulatu Astatke, the founder of ethio-jazz.
With an instrumentation rarely seen on the Danish music scene – Hammond organ, drums, percussion, and two saxophones – the quintet creates a sound that is both distinct, danceable, and very much alive.
Their music is a feast of improvisation and grooves, and contains a great element of unpredictability that turns every concert into a one-of-a-kind experience.
The band consists of five experienced and versatile musicians from the Danish jazz and world scene who have multiple times swept the audience away at Copenhagen Jazz Festival and prominent venues across the country.
