About this Event
Visual Arts Department at NABA has established two discursive platforms last academic year—Beyond the Curatorial and Reading Room—focusing on artistic sites and theoretical questions.
Previously, we were honored to host artists, curators, publishers, and thinkers such as Raqs Media Collective, Pierre Bal-Blanc, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Tiziana Villani, Ilona Németh, Crackers (with Chiara Bottici), and Antonella Huber, who shared their practices and experiences with our students.
For the 2026/27 academic year, we will continue to deepen the academic trajectories of these platforms, inviting contemporary art practitioners to share their insights, engage with global perspectives, and foster meaningful dialogues between the contemporary world and our own practices.
We are pleased to announce our first two high-profile academic dialogues taking place this October:
