Carnegie Hall is honored to welcome The Mystical Arts of Tibet on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 7 p.m. Guests are invited to come early for the free Club Carnegie Preshow Reception from 6 – 6:45 p.m. in the Board Room located adjacent to the Hamilton Auditorium. A cash bar and snacks are available. The Mystical Arts of Tibet: Sacred Music Sacred Chants for Peace & Healing brings the renowned Drepung Loseling monks to Carnegie Hall for an immersive program of ancient temple music and rare multiphonic chanting believed to generate energies for global healing. Performing in traditional robes on authentic Tibetan instruments, the monks uphold a centuries‑old ritual tradition once celebrated for days in monastery courtyards. The tour highlights zokkay, the remarkable vocal technique in which each chantmaster intones three notes at once to form a full chord. Endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, The Mystical Arts of Tibet continues to captivate audiences with its message of peace, resilience, and cultural heritage.
