About this Event
My Friend • Phish Tribute
Celebrating Larry’s Birthday!
My Friend brings the unparalleled energy of Phish to Delmarva with adventurous jams, deep musical connections, and a shared love of one of rock’s most expansive catalogs.
Featuring John Butte, Andrew Ellinghaus, Will Layman, and Larry Joseloff, the band draws on decades of friendship and collaboration. Butte, Ellinghaus, and Layman share roots in Better Off Dead, while bassist Joseloff brings experience with the John K Band and Jerry Tripsters. Their connections stretch back to the ’90s, with more recent collaborations in Legion of Jerry bringing Butte and Joseloff together onstage.
For Butte, the project puts his love of guitar and the influence of Trey Anastasio front and center. For all four musicians, it’s a celebration of improvisation, brotherhood, and the community that grows around live music.
Join My Friend for deep grooves, inspired exploration, and the music of Phish!
