MVC December 2026 Christmas Networking Breakfast

This December, we’re adding a generous sprinkle of festive mischief to our usual networking breakfast, and we want you to come dressed to impress.

Dig out that Christmas jumper that’s been sitting in the wardrobe, pull on your Santa hat, strap on those antlers, or drape yourself in whatever gloriously over-the-top festive sparkle you can find. The more ridiculous, the better.

We’re back with a Christmas quiz hosted by chamber member and quiz master extraordinaire Simon Edmands from Leatherhead Rotary Club. Last year’s quiz was a huge hit, so expect laughs, questionable team tactics, and at least one person pretending they “totally knew that one”.

We’ll also be running a special raffle in memory of our dear friend and fellow chamber member Chris Webb, who tragically passed away in 2025.

Chris was a dedicated volunteer with SERV Surrey & London, an entirely volunteer-run organisation delivering urgent blood supplies across Surrey and London. Last year we raised an incredible £400, and this year we’re hoping to go even further. This breakfast marks the continuation of our fundraising efforts for this incredible charity in Chris’s honour.

All businesses that donate a prize will have their logo featured in our marketing in the run-up to the event.

• Tickets: £5.00 per strip of 5 tickets

• Card payments accepted on the day

• Draw takes place at the breakfast

• Raffle is open to members and non-members

Please note: Winners not present on the day will need to collect their prize from either Dorking or Leatherhead.

7:30am arrival for an 8:00am breakfast which will finish at 9:30am.

Ticket Sales for this Event will end at 5:00pm on Tuesday 09 December.

Bookings must be made and paid-for online ahead of the event.

What's the refund policy? Places are limited, and events are usually oversubscribed. Please give two working days’ notice via email for a refund* or you’ll be required to pay for your place in full.

*Eventbrite booking fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or there are duplicate charges.

Info: This is where you'll be welcomed as you step into the venue by chamber staff. Once you are settled in you'll have the chance to mingle and make connections with other businesses and organisations. It is always relaxed and friendly, everyone is welcome.

Info: Now we have one-minute rounds where you can showcase your business and find out what others in the room do. If you've not done a one minute round (or 60 seconds) before, no need to worry, we will help you.

Info: This is where our guest speaker has a chance to address the breakfast attendees with a subject of their choice. We always aim to either educate, motivate and inspire during these talks. We often have speakers talk on their specialist area, talking about perhaps challenges they have had in business or giving advice that benefits at all. We also regularly have inspirational speakers who have a story to tell, it might be about their life or about their career, or of course, both!

Info: Once the speaker is finished there is time for questions. This is then followed by more networking before closing the meeting at 9:30 am. An attendee list is emailed with contact details giving them the opportunity to connect and follow up with 1-2-1s with the people they have met at the breakfast networking.
