Muslim Heritage Mapping Workshop

Come along to this exploration of Muslim heritage in the borough, led by award-winner and Britain's first professionally qualified Muslim tour guide AbdulMaalik Tailor of Halal Tourism Britain.

Using a large-scale map of Kensington & Chelsea, we will work together to develop a clearer picture of historical sites and figures linked to the Muslim community in Kensington & Chelsea. Bring your own old photographs and objects relating to Muslim heritage in the borough and add to the map! We'll also draw upon our archives and material from our special collections.

Drop-In Workshop

The workshop will run throughout the day, so you can drop in from anytime between 10.30-4pm. AbdulMaalik will open the session with an introductory talk, sharing from his personal experience and knowledge.
