For more than 250 years, communities across America have united, building the nation brick by brick and note by note. This summer’s “From Sea to Shining Sea: 250 Years of Sound” program commemorates the country’s semiquincentennial by tracing the rich history of American music through the ages. Foxtree Band has shared its lively mix of Celtic, bluegrass, old-time, folk and country music across Michigan, Ohio and Indiana since 2008. The Ann Arbor-based group has performed at festivals, historical events, concerts, libraries, schools, community gatherings and more. With joyful energy and a love of making music together, Foxtree invites guests to experience the spirit of folk traditions.
Music in the Market programming is located at Detroit Central Market in Greenfield Village. Access to Music in the Market is free for members or included with village admission.
