Mums & babies creative class
Take a little time for yourself while keeping your baby close. Join us for a relaxed, welcoming 90-minute creative workshop designed especially for new mums with newborns. No previous creative experience is needed, just come as you are.
Babies are warmly welcomed, and the sessions are designed with the realities of early motherhood in mind. Whether you need to pause for feeding, cuddles, nappy changes, or simply to settle your little one, you're encouraged to take breaks whenever you need. There is no pressure to keep up, this is a supportive space where both you and your baby are welcome exactly as you are.
Through gentle, inspiring creative activities, you'll have the opportunity to unwind, connect with other new mums, and enjoy a moment of creativity in a calm and understanding environment.
Each session explores a different creative theme, artistic skill, or hands-on technique, giving you the opportunity to experiment, learn something new, and enjoy the calming benefits of making. No previous creative experience is needed, these workshops are about the process, not perfection.
Some of the classes include: mindful mark making, painting for selfcare, drawing with scissors, clay projects, tiny baby keepsake book, and mobile making other crafts.
Tea, coffee, fresh water and cookies / fruit will be provided.
Prams will need to be left folded outside the room working area (due to space), all other baby needs can be brought and used into the space.

Time: 10:30am – 11:30pm + 30min open session where mums can carry on with their work, have tea and chat.
Location: MAKERSPACE Community mini-hub, Victoria Library, Westminster, London.

CANCELLATIONS: if you can no longer attend please let us know. Failure in notice can result of future denied access to the hub activities.
