"I created Moving Through because I realized that navigating the shifts of perimenopause and menopause requires more than just 'getting through it'—it requires a space to actually listen to what our bodies are saying.
In this class, we aren't just exercising; we are using movement and the power of the circle to honor where we are right now. Whether you feel a need to release, to find grounding, or simply to be seen in a safe and confidential space, you are welcome here. We move with what is, together."
The Experience
Moving Through is a Movement Medicine® class designed for the journey of perimenopause, menopause, and beyond. This is a safe and confidential space to land, check in, and express the wisdom of your changing body.
The Flow:
- Arrival & Opening: We begin seated in a circle, using our voices for a brief, intentional check-in. No cross-talk. No advice.
- The Movement: Guided by the , we move through a curated soundscape. This is a conscious dance practice—no steps to learn, just your own rhythm.
- Completion: We return to the seated circle to witness one another and check out with our voices, integrating the hour's work.
This is a dedicated container for anyone navigating the hormonal arc of perimenopause, menopause, and beyond. While the 'medicine' of this session focuses on the biological landscape of those born with ovaries, this is an inclusive space that welcomes women, non-binary, and gender-expansive folks who are moving through this specific life transition.
In this Movement Medicine® journey, we will:
