About the Movie
Set in the summer of 1962, a new kid in town is taken under the wing of a young baseball prodigy and his team and rowdy adventures ensue. It's a story of childhood adventures and finding yourself through friendship.
Genre: Comedy
Year: 1993
Length: 1 hr 42 min
Director: David Mickey Evans
Cast of Characters: Tom Guiry, Mike Vitar, James Earl Jones, Dennis Leary
Trivia Question: In the scene where the boys share a bag of chewing tobacco on the rides at the fairground, several cast members had a similar experience to their characters and threw up. It may have had less to do with the rides than with the fake tobacco itself, which was made out of licorice and bacon.
