Join us for dinner and a movie! This month we will watch Julie Dash’s Daughters of the Dust, which follows a family in the Gullah community of coastal South Carolina -- The formerly enslaved West Africans who adopted many of their ancestors' Yoruba traditions suffer a generational split.

After the film we will be led in a discussion by Samantha Jo around some of the topics + themes revealed.
