About this Event
Mountain West Country Fest is a community-based music festival presented by the Mountain West Country Music Association, a 501C3 nonprofit corporation based in Colorado Springs, CO that is dedicated to supporting and developing up and coming musical artists, cultivating passion for country music in the communities that we serve, and bringing culture and arts to our communities in the form of music festivals that feature local, regional, and national talent.
The concept of this festival is to promote Mountain West artists, while also providing high value musical entertainment to the city of Colorado Springs by bringing in regional/national touring artists at affordable ticket prices.
The tentative scheme of maneuver is to utilize two primary stage locations for the larger acts, and two secondary performance areas to relieve pressure on the main stage during artist turnover, as well as to ensure near-constant musical performance is occurring during the entirety of the festival. Live performances will be conducted from 6:30PM on 5NOV26 until 11:00PM on 7NOV26.
The festival concept also includes an MWCMA Educational Symposium, formalized country dancing classes and competitions, annual MWCMA Members Meetings, and a vendor expo to include food/beverage vendors, gear manufacturers, and other partnered brands interested in exposure to music festival attendees.
The culminating event for the Mountain West Country Fest is the 2026 Mountain West Country Music Awards Show in the Heritage Ballroom, which includes access to the MWCMA Cocktail Hour, 3 course plated dinner, performances by featured MWCMA Artists, Awards Presentation, and a 90 minute dance set by Rhett Haney, winner of the 2025 MWCMA Album of the Year Award!
