Join us October 1st for another shorts screening + networking event.
We're excited to be partnering with and for the second time to bring you this experience. We'll gather at MIAD on Thursday, Oct. 1st, 2026 at 5:30pm for an animation screening and then head to for a social meetup.

Pre-Screening Social (at MIAD Student Union) - 5:30PM
Screening (at MIAD Student Union) - 6PM
Post Screening Networking (at Broken Bat brewing) - 7:15PM-9PM
Malt Adult started in Columbus, Ohio and has been organizing animation screenings since 2016. They've shown over 500 + curated animated shorts over the years. From 2022-2024 they've organized shows at DePaul University in Chicago, and earlier this year at MIAD for the first time!
This is a casual networking event for motion designers and artists in the industry of motion design and animation. All skill levels are welcome. We welcome everyone in the community that wants to learn or is already a vet mographer.
Come and network with local designers, illustrators, 2D & 3D animators, and mograph artists. All are welcome!
