Lecture With Eric Vogel and Michael P. Johnson with Q&A
Info: Between 1967 and 1976, Michael P. Johnson designed and built over twenty houses in southeastern Wisconsin that pushed the boundaries of modern American architecture. Like Wright and Goff before him, Johnson was a self-taught architect working outside professional norms integrating art, interior design, furniture, sculpture, and architecture into a unique spatial experience for his clients. His experiments in domestic architecture were recognized internationally as a radical challenge to the steel and glass boxes of midcentury American modernism.
