More Than a Will
Where Your Estate Plans Meet Your Money
You may have an estate plan. Did your money get the memo?
You signed the documents. Named the people you trust. Made decisions about what you want to happen.
But do your accounts, beneficiary forms, and plans for income and care support those wishes?
And if you haven’t created an estate plan yet, where should you begin?
Join us for a free educational workshop about connecting your estate plan with your money and the people you love.
📅 Thursday, November 12, 2026
🕕 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
📍 Prescott Public Library | 215 E. Goodwin Street, Prescott, Arizona
We’ll cover these questions at the event
✔ Do your beneficiary forms match your estate plan? Could the beneficiaries named on your retirement accounts or life insurance contradict your wishes? Do you know? Are you sure?
✔ You signed your trust. Is it funded? Are the assets you intended to place in it actually connected to it?
✔ Could someone you trust pay your bills if you couldn’t? Would they have the authority and access they need?
✔ What would the one left behind live on? If one spouse dies, which income continues, which income stops, and would there be enough to cover the bills?
✔ Would taxes go up for the one left behind? Has your plan accounted for how the survivor’s tax situation could change?
✔ What happens when your children inherit your retirement accounts? What tax questions should you consider now, especially if they inherit during their highest-earning years?
✔ How would you pay for care if you needed it? What would that mean for your savings, your spouse’s income, and what you hope to leave your family?
We’ll begin with wills, trusts, and probate in Arizona, then look at the financial decisions that need to work alongside those documents.
Who is this for?
Men, women, and couples are welcome, whether you already have a will or trust, haven’t reviewed your plan in years, or are just getting started.
I’m Veronica Aguilera, creator of More Than a Will. My goal is to help you recognize the connections that can get missed when your legal documents and financial decisions are handled separately.
You don’t need to arrive with everything organized. Just bring yourself and your questions.
