It's time for Prescott Valley residents to stand together and make their voices heard about Flock Safety and the other surveillance systems in our community. This peaceful public rally will bring together residents concerned about government surveillance, personal privacy, the tracking of our daily movements, and the accountability of our elected officials.
For many residents, the issue goes far beyond license plate cameras. It's about whether our everyday movements should be recorded, stored, and made searchable without meaningful public involvement in those decisions.
Our neighboring communities, including Cottonwood, Sedona, and Flagstaff, have also faced decisions about Flock Safety systems. Their experiences demonstrate the importance of residents participating in local government.
We also encourage Prescott residents to attend. Prescott and Prescott Valley are sister communities, and decisions made in one can influence the other.
At 4:30 PM, residents will gather on N. Glassford Hills Rd adjacent to the Prescott Valley Public Library for a peaceful demonstration. At 5:30 PM, attendees can proceed inside the PV Library to the Town Council meeting.
Whether you signed the petition, have concerns about surveillance, or simply want to learn more, this is an opportunity to participate in a public discussion that affects our communities.
Bring a friend, neighbor, or family member. Signs are welcome. Please be respectful and follow all applicable public assembly and meeting rules.
Our rights. Our privacy. Our children's future.
