Monthly Moot - October
Ay up! Join us for our Monthly Moot!
We launched the Nottingham Folklore Society on the 3rd of September to 45 people, however, we realise that not everyone that wanted to attend could do so.
Therefore, our next Monthly Moot will take place on Thursday 8th October at The Carousel, Hockley in Nottingham. - which will allow more people to come along and take part.
We will, however, still be heading over to the King Billy for a drink and to watch the Irish Traditional Folk session (this runs from 8pm onwards).
What are our Monthly Moot's like?
Our monthly meetings have the aim of bringing local people that are interested in folklore together and therefore, these are fun socials where you can meet new people and hear about upcoming local customs and events.
We will also be inviting people to talk at these meetings, whether that's reading your favourite folk tale, a show and tell or a talk about a particular folky subject!
