The purpose of the Chesapeake Environmental Improvement Council shall be to promote interest in the general improvement of the environment of Chesapeake thereby making Chesapeake a cleaner place to live. Efforts include promotion of litter prevention, recycling, and beautification by providing citizens an opportunity to get involved at the grassroots level. Visitors are welcome to attend CEIC monthly meetings.
As for all our meeting, the public is welcome to attend.
The Tree Board meets at 11 am, immediately prior to the noon CEIC meeting.
