About this Event
This workshop is designed to help parents understand and manage their children’s screen time in a healthy, balanced, and practical way. Participants will learn about the effects of screen use on children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development, explore age-appropriate screen time recommendations, and understand the difference between high-quality and low-quality digital content. The workshop also covers strategies for creating a family screen time plan, encouraging healthy digital habits, selecting educational and age-appropriate content, promoting physical activity, and using parental controls, device settings, and monitoring tools effectively. By the end of the session, participants will have the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about technology use, support their children's wellbeing, and create a healthier digital environment at home.
