About this Event
Having a baby changes your body—but it doesn’t mean you have to stop doing the things you love.
Join D1 East Nashville and Elevate615 for a casual, educational and active morning built specifically for moms who want to feel strong, capable, and confident after childbirth.
We’ll start with a conversational workshop led by Hannah Jones, Doctor of Physical Therapy, covering some of the most common questions women have when returning to exercise postpartum:
- Is leaking during exercise actually normal?
- How do I safely return to running and jumping?
- When can I start lifting heavier weights again?
- What should I know about my core and pelvic floor?
- How do I know when to push—and when something needs more attention?
Then the D1 East Nashville coaching team will lead a beginner-friendly Mommy & Me workout, with Hannah available to help demonstrate modifications and scaling options.
The goal isn't to see how hard you can work.
It's to show you how much your body is still capable of doing—and how to build from there.
Who Should Attend?
This event is designed for moms at any stage of their postpartum fitness journey—whether you're just beginning to exercise again or you've been back at it but still have questions about leaking, weakness, discomfort, running, lifting, or how hard you should be pushing.
You do not need to be a D1 athlete or Elevate615 patient. The event is open to the community.
