About this Event
The aim of this session is to provide a basic introduction to modern slavery by outlining the legal framework, definitions and principles that are used, and by signposting to key local and national resources (led by Martin Crow LSAB Business Manager).
Please Note: Certificates of attendance are available upon request. Candidates will need to complete the full session in order to qualify. Attendance will be cross referenced with the trainer.
LSAB training events are free of charge to delegates, but are a very valuable resource that take a lot of time, (public) money and effort to arrange. These are often oversubscribed too, meaning that ‘drop outs’ prevent another person from attending.
Delegates should not book onto an event unless they can absolutely commit to attending, and if you need to drop out you should inform [email protected] as soon as possible so that a replacement can be considered.
If you do not attend and do not let us know in advance we will ask your manager for an explanation, and we will reserve the right to refuse future bookings for repeated ‘no shows’.
All the learning events that the Lewisham Safeguarding Adults Board provide are free of charge to the delegate. However, a lot of time, resource, and public expense is used in planning and delivering these activities, so if you register, please make a full commitment to attending. If you do not, you may prevent someone else from being able to participate.
Please cancel your booking if your circumstances change or let us know as soon as you can.
Repeat non-attenders may be barred from registering for our events in the future.
