You'll begin by creating a loose and energetic acrylic painted background before choosing your own colour palette and building your artwork with colourful and vintage papers, stencils, stamps, texture tools and beautifully imperfect marks.
Throughout the workshop, Sally will guide you step by step, sharing her favourite techniques, creative tips and those wonderful little "aha!" moments that help build confidence and remove the fear of making art. As each layer is added, you'll discover how simple materials can come together to create an artwork full of depth, movement and personality.
No drawing skills or artistic experience are needed. Whether you're trying mixed media for the very first time or you're already a passionate maker, this workshop is designed to inspire creativity, encourage experimentation and remind you that art is meant to be enjoyed.
