🌍 MISSIONS NIGHT: a Culture Night with a twist!📅 Saturday 21 November, 7:30 pm
📍 King of Kings Church, 57M2 Cavendish Drive, Manukau
Instead of showing off your own culture, pick a nation that is desperately in need of the gospel, not your own heritage, and represent it for the night. ***The greater the need, the more points you score! 🎯***
🍛 Bring a plate from that nation
📖 Learn a little about its people
🗣️ Teach us something in its language: a greeting, a prayer or a song
🎲 Games, a guest speaker for the kids, a shared feast and prizes
Inspiration:
The night before Reformation Day, we're celebrating the gospel for every tribe and tongue. On 31 October 1517, Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses and sparked a movement that put the Bible into everyday languages. However, the Revelation 7:9 goal has not been complete as there are still many more tribes, tongues, and nations that have not yet received the gospel. So, this culture night is to raise awareness in prayer for these missing tribes, tongues and nations.
No sign-up needed. Everyone welcome, so bring the whole family!
