About this Event

Mindfulness & Tarot Drawing
A Creative Retreat for Curious Minds

Step away from the noise of everyday life and spend a day immersed in creativity, reflection, and mindful making.

This inspiring one-day workshop combines intuitive drawing, mindfulness, and the rich symbolism of Tarot to unlock your imagination and deepen your creative practice. Whether you're an experienced artist or someone who simply enjoys drawing, you'll discover new ways of looking, thinking, and creating.

Rather than using Tarot to predict the future, we use it as a powerful creative tool. Each participant selects a card that becomes the starting point for a personal visual journey. The imagery, colour, symbolism, and archetypes within the card become prompts for drawing, painting, writing, and conversation.

Working in a relaxed studio environment, you'll explore techniques that quiet the busy mind, encourage intuition, and help you reconnect with your creativity. Throughout the day you'll build a series of expressive drawings while sharing ideas within a welcoming and supportive small group.

Expect a day of thoughtful conversation, mindful drawing, experimentation, and creative play.

No previous experience with Tarot—or drawing—is necessary.

During the workshop you will:

  • Explore mindfulness through drawing and observation.
  • Discover Tarot as a creative and reflective practice.
  • Learn simple rituals that encourage calm and creative focus.
  • Experiment with mark-making, drawing, colour and visual storytelling.
  • Develop your own unique response to the imagery within the cards.
  • Create a collection of expressive drawings to take home.
  • Meet like-minded creative people in an inspiring studio setting.

Tarot offers a visual language that speaks to experiences we all share—new beginnings, transformation, resilience, hope, uncertainty, joy, rest, and change. Through art-making these universal themes become a starting point for reflection and imagination.

The emphasis is on curiosity rather than perfection, allowing creativity to unfold naturally in a calm and inspiring atmosphere.
