About this Event
As the weather gets cooler and the leaves begin to change, we start to move into a new seasonal cycle and get ready for the colder months ahead. Join TRCA, for a fun, family-friendly event all about the changing seasons and how these seasonal changes can support and improve your mental health.
Learn how to identify different plant and animal species and how their unique traits help them survive and thrive in your local neighbourhood.
TRCA educators will provide opprotunities to investigate and understand local biodiversity through hands on activities, games and examples.
TRCA educators will also provide practical suggestions to help individuals focus on improving their mental heath with inspiration from nature.
This event is for all ages, adult accompaniment required.
Location: Meeting at Toronto Public Library-New Toronto branch (110 Eleventh Street, M8V 3G5) before walking to Samuel Smith Park.
This event is intended for Ages 6+:-Beginner level information-Activities and concepts that are friendly for all ages-Intended audience includes children, youth, and adults
