About this Event
A warm, intimate gathering to discover Authentic Movement and explore how listening to our bodies can help us reconnect with ourselves.
Mindful Tuesdays
One topic. One practitioner. One hour.
Join us in person at The Living Room on 9th in San Francisco's Inner Sunset for a gentle introduction to Authentic Movement led by Forest Franken, Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist.
What happens when we slow down, listen inwardly, and bring awareness to our experience without judgment or expectations? Together, we'll explore how this practice invites us to notice what arises in the present moment, whether thoughts, emotions, sensations, or the simple impulse to move.
Forest will guide participants through a brief experience of Authentic Movement, offering an opportunity to explore this practice at their own pace, entirely from a seated position if preferred.
No prior experience is needed. This practice welcomes everyone and every body. Participation is always optional.
