Did you know it is clinically proven in a BBC study that anandamide (the bliss molecule) significantly increases after communal singing?!
About this Event

Mind to Soul Yoga at Shakti Space is a monthly practice that supports configuring the Body & Mind to uncover the ‘Soul State’ aka Atma. Here, listening is as important as expressing.
Every session integrates three unfolding approaches for ~30 minutes each, all underpinned by intentional sound:
Pranayama (Rhymthic Breath)
Asana (Flowing Postures)
Naad (Emotional Alchemy through Sound)
Suitable for all abilities. No previous experience is necessary — simply come as you are.

Yoga of Sound invites us to explore the voice as our primary instrument. Rather than singing for performance or perfection, this is a practice of emotional agility, deep listening, and inner tuning.
Working with the natural rhythm of breath, heartbeat, and life itself, we learn to listen to the feelings shaping our inner soundscape. Through vocal activation, we give expression to our emotional experiences and the memories carried within them. Altogether, these practices help us cultivate greater self-understanding, generating sweetness and love from within.
These yoga classes are led by Kiran SKG (Gurmat Kirtan, trained by Raj Academy Conservatoire) with some sessions co-led by Chethams-trained Bethany-Roísín (Your Body is Your Instrument).
