About this Event
Join us for Mind Body Fest 2026, a calming and restorative evening designed especially for cancer survivors and caregivers. This in-person event will take place on Wednesday, May 20 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Malcolm X College and offers a unique opportunity to explore stress-relieving practices that support overall well-being.
The evening begins with an inspiring keynote by Dr. Jaime Lewis, a dual board-certified physician in lifestyle and palliative medicine and certified yoga therapist. In her presentation, Beyond the Nap: Redefining Rest When Living with Cancer-Related Fatigue, Dr. Lewis will help participants better understand the difference between everyday tiredness and cancer-related fatigue, while offering a fresh, holistic approach to rest and recovery.
Following the keynote, participants can experience a variety of short, guided sessions—including Tai Chi, breathwork, and therapeutic yoga—designed to help reduce stress, restore balance, and promote relaxation. This event creates a welcoming space to explore new techniques, connect with others, and discover what works best for your mind and body.
All provided at no cost. Registration is required—secure your spot and take time to recharge, restore, and support your well-being.
