About this Event

This epic challenge, suitable for seasoned hikers and hill-lovers, leads us through the beautiful Surrey Hills to hike the iconic Box, Holmbury, and Leith Hills.

Starting at Holmwood Station, we make our way through meadows, gradually ascending to Anstiebury Hill Fort, we pass Coldharbour and continue to Leith Hill, topped by a Victorian Tower and at 294 metres the second highest point in southeast England, with views as far as the City of London.

The path descends to Highfield Copse where a short climb leads us to Holmbury Hill with commanding views as far as the South Downs. The trail now winds along woodland paths to the pretty village of Holmbury St Mary and onto Westcott.

A steep hill takes us to Ranmore Common and joins the North Downs Way leading past Denbies Vineyard and the 275 steps to Box Hill. We descend the North East Flank to end at the station and a pub, where we are rewarded with a well-earned drink and food.
