Are you curious to hear what a grand symphony sounds like in a chamber music setting? We have the answer!
Join us on 24 November at 8:00 PM for the next event in the Midnight Concerts | Klasyka na Koszykach series, featuring PianophonicSEXTET!
This unconventional chamber ensemble draws its artistic identity from a fascination with the sound and rich possibilities of chamber music. Bringing together a string quartet and a piano duo, the musicians create a unique sonic landscape where symphonic grandeur meets the subtlety and intimacy of chamber dialogue.
The programme features Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 in E minor, “From the New World,” Op. 95, in an original arrangement for piano duo and string quartet. This masterpiece combines European traditions with inspirations from the New World, captivating audiences with its rich sonorities and emotionally charged musical storytelling!
Save the date and spend a November evening with us, discovering the extraordinary side of classical music live!
