About this Event
Join the MSU Archives on a historical walking tour of campus. Beginning at Olds Hall, we'll visit the grounds of Beaumont Tower, the site of Saints' Rest, Morrill Hall plaza, Mayo Hall, Yakeley-Gilchrist Hall, and Williams Hall. The tour will be mostly historical factual information with a sprinkling of spooky stories. Please note this is not the Paranormal Walk..
There is space for 35 participants.
Arrival & Parking:
Participants are asked to arrive by 4 p.m. at the West Circle facing side of Olds Hall. Olds Hall is the building immediately East of the MSU Main Library. The MSU Library address is being used on Eventbrite because it is not recognizing Olds Hall. Olds Hall address is 408 W. Circle. Parking for this event will take planning. There is a small pay-by-plate lot across from Olds Hall and in front of the MSU Campus Museum. Accessible parking spaces are available in MSU Campus Museum lot, on the East side of the MSU Main Library and in the rear lot of the MSU Main Library. There is a pay-by-plate lot at IM Circle (next to Spartan Stadium) and there are pay-by-plate parking spaces along West Circle Drive across from Landon Hall and on the ground floor of the parking garage at Morrill Hall plaza.
What To Bring:
This is a walking tour. Comfortable shoes, drinking water, and weather-appropriate attire are recommended. There are benches along the route where participants can rest, if needed.
Waitlist/Cancellations:
With a limited number of spaces, please ensure you are only registering individuals you are certain will attend. If you register for the event and your plans change, please alert the Mid-Michigan Spartans immediately so we can invite individuals from the waitlist.
For those attempting to register after the event fills, please add your name to the waitlist. If a space becomes available to tour the tower, we will let you know.

There is no cost to attend this experience. As with all Mid-Michigan Spartans' events, those interested in making a donation to the operations of our club are welcome to do so via the additional ticket option listed with this event. All contributions are appreciated and used to fund the general expenses of our programming. Donation tickets are not tickets to the tour. If you wish to attend the tour, as well as donate, be sure to select the Historic Walking Tour Admittance ticket in addition to the donation ticket.
