Three Copilot workflows you can run next week in Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel
About this Event

You already use Microsoft 365. Now, learn how to get more out of it with Microsoft Copilot.

This three-hour, face-to-face session focuses on practical ways to simplify everyday work, from turning rough notes into clear emails, to summarising lengthy content, identifying action items and asking questions of spreadsheet data.

Designed for Western Australian micro, small and medium businesses, not-for-profits (NFPs) and local government teams, the session is relevant to anyone looking to work more efficiently, regardless of their role or responsibilities.

You’ll explore simple workflows you can start using next week, along with safe-data practices and ways to review Copilot’s outputs before relying on them.

What You’ll Take Away
  • A reusable prompt pattern using Goal + Context + Expectations + Source
  • A human-review checklist to help you check Copilot-generated outputs
  • A practical next step with one workflow to try in your workplace over the next 30 days

What We’ll Cover
  • Safe-data practices when using Copilot
  • Turning rough notes into emails and short documents
  • Summarising content and extracting actionable next steps
  • Asking questions of spreadsheet data and verifying the answers

Who Should Attend?

Business owners, managers and team members across WA businesses, NFPs and local government who already have access to Microsoft 365 and want to make everyday tasks more manageable.

Whether you work in administration, operations, management or another business function, you’ll take away practical ideas you can adapt to your own work.

Bring your curiosity and leave with a workflow you can put into practice.

Refund, Cancellation and Transfer Policy

1) Your legal rights: Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Nothing in this policy limits them. This policy applies to tickets for this event only.

2) If we cancel or materially change the event: If we cancel this event, or change its date, content, format or delivery mode so materially that it no longer meets your reasonable needs, you can choose either:

(a) a full refund of the total you paid, including Eventbrite fees, to your original payment method; or

(b) a transfer to a later event of your choice.

We do not deduct any fee from these refunds. Minor changes, such as a substitute presenter, a running-order change, or a different room at the same venue, do not entitle you to a refund under this clause. If you think a change is material, email and we will decide within 5 business days. We will give reasons if we decline, and your legal rights are unaffected.

3) If you cannot attend: Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind. If you tell us at least 14 days before the event, you may move your ticket once to another session, subject to availability. It has no cash value.

4) Transferring your ticket to another person: You may transfer your ticket to another person up to 7 days before the event, by emailing with the new attendee’s name and email, or via Eventbrite’s transfer tool where enabled. Tickets must not be resold for more than you paid. We set this cut-off because we confirm final attendee numbers with the venue and caterer, and prepare name badges and course materials, 7 days before each event.

5) No-show or leaving early: No refund or credit is available if you do not attend or leave part-way through, except as required by law.

6) Refund requests: Email with your name, order number and the clause you rely on. We acknowledge requests within 5 business days and decide them within 10 business days. Approved refunds go to the original payment method and normally appear within 5 to 10 business days.

7) Conduct: We may refuse entry or remove an attendee who endangers others or seriously disrupts the event. No refund is due for that. This does not limit your legal rights.

8) Tickets sold through Eventbrite: Eventbrite processes tickets. Its refund tools and terms apply in addition to this policy, and we will honour the rights set out here. For advisory, training or consulting under a separate written agreement, that agreement’s terms apply together with clauses 1 and 2.
