'Shafar has a disarmingly relaxed approach... with a wildly inventive, darkly comic imagination.' ***** (TheEdinburghReporter.co.uk). 'He circumnavigates the line between edgy and offensive with beautiful finesse' ****½ (Age). 'If you fear comedy has gotten too politically correct, Shafar will put those fears to rest' **** (Time Out). 'He drives across taboos... this is equal opportunity Sacred Cow slaughter' (Scotsman).
