Ross is a life long passionate music lover who danced his way through his formative years in the 80’s and 90’s to Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, Disco and the emerging House sounds. Later Ross decided to turn his hand to DJing and a career in all things musical, which is working out very well for the avid music collector in mo' ways than one. Currently he is part of the hugely anticipated La Beat Soul Club nights as one third of the DJing trio (he's the one with big bins and an energetic presence behind the decks). The guys play all over Edinburgh with their eclectic mash up of all things MOBO focusing with an emphasis on Disco, Boogie, Soul, and Funk at their packed gigs. Ross has recently opened Beat Generation Records in the Tollcross area of Edinburgh selling vinyl and CDs to fellow music heads too, as well as hosting boutique live music events in the shop as well. Ross has played at MFSB previously and his drove of followers always turn out to support his eclectic sets encompassing everything from Rare Soul to Electronica and everything in-between£8.00 cash or £9.00 card on the door
