Mexican Independence Day eve. The Grito live from Mexico City around 10, a midnight countdown, DJ Bald Jefe at 7. 21 and up after 10.About this Event
In Mexico, the party is the night before. Mexican Independence Day is Wednesday the 16th, so the night is Tuesday, September 15.
We open at 5, full menu and full patio. DJ Bald Jefe is on at 7. Afro house, Latin house, tech house all night. Once it's dark the music turns Mexican... the songs everyone knows, remixed, at tempo. Around 10 the Grito, the ceremony that starts the holiday, plays live from Mexico City on the screens. And at midnight, the second the 16th begins, the whole room does its own countdown... three Vivas and a bell.
Wear your colors. Green, white or red. A jersey counts.
No cover. All ages until 10, and the room is 21 and up after that, so bring ID. The ceremony lands right at 10... come early if you are bringing family.
You do not need a table. RSVP and walk in. If you want one held for a group, call 949.612.2349.
